If you are new to Blackstone, this Hibachi Fried Rice On The Blackstone Griddle is one of the first things I recommend you try to make! There are many other Blackstone Recipes. You will be amazed at how easy dinner is to make outside, and clean up is always a breeze!
I personally have a 17-inch Blackstone for camping and on the job site, and then at home have a 36-inch one for cooking for the family! If you are new to Blackstone or outdoor griddles, check out my post -> here for my Guide to Griddles!
You can purchase Griddles at these sites too!
If you are a Blackstone owner or new to Blackstone, there are several accessory options!! The bigger spatulas are very helpful for making Fried rice, and the scraper is great for cleaning the griddle.
I do recommend having a squeeze bottle with more oil handy when making this; a bit more oil down helps the eggs not to stick as much when making that part.
Teriyaki Steak Fried Rice Ingredients:
- Eggs
- White Rice– This will need to be cooked and cooled off. Leftover/day-old rice works best for this rice.
- Peas and Carrots- I used a frozen pea and carrot combination to make this dish.
- Salt and Black Pepper
- Soy Sauce
- Sesame Oil
- Minced Garlic
- Trimmed Petite Sirloin–Sometimes you can find it pre-cubed up at a butcher but you can cube up a different, thicker steak to cook in this.
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Montreal Steak Seasoning
- Yoshida Teriyaki
- Teriyaki Marinade
- Sesame Seeds

How To Make Teriyaki Steak Fried Rice On The Blackstone Griddle:
Combine your Sesame Seeds, Yoshida Teriyaki, Teriyaki Marinade, and Worcestershire Sauce in a container.

Dice your steak into small pieces; I trim off some excess fat on mine.
Add your steaks to your marinade container and store overnight, if not at least a couple of hours.
Cook your white rice for a couple of hours before you make your fried rice. This can also be done the night before cooking up your white rice. I make my white rice in a rice cooker, like these -> here on Amazon.
After your rice is cooked, spread it out on a cookie sheet to allow it to dry out after it is done cooking. Allow to dry out for at least an hour before making the fried rice.

Remove your steak from the fridge and allow it to sit out at room temperature for a bit while you begin the rest of the prep.
Whisk your eggs in a bowl and add just a splash of water; the water helps them to be a bit fluffier. These will be basically scrambled eggs mixed in.
Add salt and pepper to the egg mixture.
Fire up your Blackstone griddle at a medium-high heat and re-oil it down if needed.
I keep mine ready to go at all times, so all I have to do is turn it on and re-oil it a little bit. (Check out my tips for Caring For Your Blackstone -> here)
Use a slotted spoon to remove the steak from your sauce mixture when the griddle is at cooking temperature.
Once your steak begins to cook, spread your rice out on the middle of the griddle and add in the frozen vegetables and minced garlic.

Use a spatula and allow both to cook on the griddle while stirring/moving around occasionally.
Pour your eggs onto the other side of the griddle to cook; if your griddle looks dry, squirt on a bit more vegetable oil. The eggs will get chopped up, kinda like scrambled eggs, while cooking.
Drizzle the rice with soy sauce and allow to cook while the eggs and chicken continue.

When your eggs are partially cooked but still runny, combine the eggs with the rice and vegetables.
Combine the steak with the rice and allow to cook a little bit more.
Serve and enjoy!!

How To Store Leftover Blackstone Fried Rice
Store in an air-tight container or Ziploc bag in the fridge. Eat within three days of being cooked. Fried rice will not freeze very well.
How To Reheat Blackstone Fried Rice
You can reheat leftover Blackstone fried rice in a skillet on the stove or back on the Blackstone griddle itself. This also reheats well in the microwave; I put a wet paper towel over the bowl of fried rice when I go this route.

How To Serve Steak Fried Rice
I almost always serve fried rice topped with Chili Paste, Sriracha, and Sesame Seeds. A friend has always made a Sunnyside up egg to serve on top of their rice; the possibilities are endless.
