Ham Fried Rice On Blackstone Griddle is a tasty way to use leftover holiday ham. Fried Rice on the Blackstone now happens this week happens at least once a month now! This is the perfect use of leftover ham.

Now, I have shared How To Make Hibachi Fried Rice On The Blackstone Griddle and other Blackstone Recipes. I love finding more dinners to make outside. And I have to say I can never make fried rice inside again; the flavor from the griddle is amazing!
I personally have a 17-inch Blackstone for camping and on the job site, and then at home have a 36-inch one for cooking for the family! If you are new to Blackstone or outdoor griddles, check out my post -> here for my Guide to Griddles!
You can purchase Griddles at these sites too!
Now, if you are a Blackstone owner or new to Blackstone, there are several accessory options!! For making ham Fried rice, the bigger spatulas are very helpful, and the scraper for this. I recommend having a squeeze bottle with more oil handy when making this. A bit more oil down helps the eggs not to stick as much when you make that part.
Blackstone Ham Fried Rice Ingredients:
- Ham– You can buy diced up ham, use leftover crockpot ham, or Smoked Ham is amazing in this fried rice.
- Raw Bacon– You will want to dice this up to cook on the Blackstone. I used thick-cut bacon, so there was plenty of meat.
- Eggs
- White Rice– This will need to be cooked and cooled off. Leftover/day-old rice works best for this rice.
- Green Onions
- Peas and carrots– I used a frozen pea and carrot combination to make this dish.
- Salt and Black Pepper
- Soy Sauce
- Sesame Oil
- Minced Garlic
How To Make Ham Fried Rice On Blackstone Griddle:
A couple of hours before you are ready to make your fried rice or the night before, make your white rice. I make my white rice in a rice cooker, like these -> here on Amazon. Using a rice cooker makes it much easier to make large amounts of rice at once.
Spread your rice on a cookie sheet to allow it to dry out after it is done cooking. I let mine dry out for about an hour or two depending on what’s going on before dinner time.
Cut up any veggies you want in the fried rice, and cut up your meat. I used frozen peas and carrots. I cooked them up before throwing onto the Blackstone.

Cut up your leftover ham, and I also did bacon to throw in it.
Whisk your eggs in a bowl and add just a splash of water. The water helps them to be a bit fluffier. Add a bit of salt and pepper to your egg mixture.
Fire up your Blackstone griddle and re-oil it down. I keep mine ready to go at all times so all I have to do is turn it on and re-oil it. (Check out my tips for Caring For Your Blackstone -> here)

Spread out your ham and bacon on one side of the griddle, and then spread out the rice on the other side of the griddle.
Allow the meat to cook on the griddle while stirring/moving around occasionally.
Now the great thing about this recipe is you can do this however you want.
Next, I add my vegetables to the meat and allow them to cook with the meat.
Add in next your minced garlic to your meat mixture.

Next, mix everything with the rice, meat, and veggies onto one side of the griddle.
Pour your eggs onto the other side of the griddle and allow to cook. If your griddle looks dry, squirt on a bit more vegetable oil. These will get chopped up, kinda like scrambled eggs in your rice.

Once your eggs are cooked, mix the eggs into everything on the griddle.
Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil and allow to cook a couple more minutes on the griddle.
Serve and enjoy!!

How To Store Leftover Blackstone Fried Rice
Store in an air-tight container or Ziploc bag in the fridge. Eat within three days of being cooked. Fried rice will not freeze very well.
How To Reheat Blackstone Fried Rice
You can reheat leftover Blackstone fried rice in a skillet on the stove or back on the Blackstone griddle itself. This also reheats well in the microwave; I put a wet paper towel over the bowl of fried rice when I go this route.
