This Grilled Cod In Foil Recipe is a longtime favorite of mine! While I am an avid fish lover most of my family is not a huge fan of fish, however, Grilled Cod Fillet is something they will all eat! Now I paired this up with my White Wine Steamed clam for the ultimate weekend dinner!

Now, my favorite way to eat Grilled Cod is in Grilled Cod Tacos; they are so good with cabbage. However, this time, I had just gotten some clams from the Hood Canal, so I went with just a Grilled Cod Filet.
There are are so many ways to make Cod but foil is my go-to for quick and easy dinners. Plus the foil holds in the juices to make for moist flavored grilled cod. Cod is one of my favorite white fish to eat, tilapia and halibut are my other favorites.

How To Grill Cod In Foil:
Spray your aluminum foil with some nonstick spray to make sure your Cod fillet won’t stick while grilling.
Now, protip if you are having issues finding Cod at your store you can order online! I love using Omaha Steaks and loved their seafood selection!! (see it -> here) Or Amazon has amazing pricing as well -> here!
Layout your fillet and top with some minced garlic, salt, and pepper to taste, and then lay sliced lemons on top.
Fold your foil around the cod fillet to make a foil packet for it.
Fire up your grill to a medium-high heat and then once it’s warmed up turn down to low heat.

Place your foil on your grill and allow it to cook for about 30 minutes and until it reaches an internal temp of 145 degrees. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the cooked cod is at temperature. This is one of the most important steps in any fish recipe.
Remove and serve up!!

I paired this up with some simple BBQ asparagus and also my White Wine Steamed clams. (grab my recipe -> here)
