Twice Baked Potatoes On The Grill makes the perfect side dish for holiday dinners! I throw these on the grill while the Prime Rib is smoking. Freeing up oven space for big holiday dinners is a total win for everyone.

Now you can do this in the oven, but let’s face it, the grill makes everything better!! You can customize these however you want or do them all the same. While grilled baked potatoes are amazing, these twice-baked loaded potatoes are amazing! I mean, have you met bacon?

How To Make twice baked potatoes on grill
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
Wash and dry off your baking potatoes.
Place on a rack in your oven and allow to bake for about an hour. If you don’t want to baked you can make grilled baked potato to use.

Cut up your bacon and start to fry it in the pan.
Now once your potatoes are baked let them cool off and then cut them in half

Reserve some cheese for topping and in a big mixing bowl or a Kitchen Aid Mixer, place in the bowl the sour cream, bacon, green onions, 4 cheese blend shredded, cooked bacon, cream cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.

Scoop the innards out of your cut potatoes (I used oven gloves since they were still a bit hot to the touch) into the bowl.
Save the emptied potato skins, you will fill these up later.

Slowly start up your mixer and then start to add in milk you want this to be thick but to have the potato mixture turn out like mashed potatoes.

Scoop your potato mixture back into the scooped-out potato skin. *you may have some potato mixture leftover just eat it, I promise it will taste amazing*

Once potato skins are filled, top them with more cheese!!!
We kept potatoes in the fridge overnight to make for Christmas Eve dinner the next night. My old lady has a Pyrex problem, so we have an official grill casserole pan that we use with a lid. (This is the one that she has -> here that I stole from her) The lid makes storing before cooking and leftovers easy

Once you are ready to cook them, throw them on the top rack of the grill in a casserole pan, I used a Pyrex pan.
Grill on the top rack until they are nice and melted and hot.

How To Store Grilled Twice-Baked Potatoes
