Coca Cola Chicken Leg Quarters are perfect for any get together!! The Coca-Cola brine is perfect to flavor your chicken for smoking!

It’s no secret that I love to smoke food and I smoked meat every chance I get! Last month the weather was amazing and it was the perfect day for smoking chicken!  Now, since I love to cook with Coca-Cola ™, I had to use my Coca-Cola Brine. If I don’t mind saying so myself it turned out pretty fantastic!  For a little secret, if feeding a large group of people quarters are the way to go, they are cheaper and make a lot of food for a group.

  • 3 Tbsp Salt

How To Make Smoked  Coca Cola Chicken Leg Quarters:

Use a whisk or shake the container well to mix everything up.

Add into the container your ice and make sure the chicken is fully submerged in the Coca-Cola brine mixture. (You may need to add more Coca-Cola)

Store in a fridge or cooler and allow the chicken to brine for at least 24 hours before smoking.

Be sure to keep checking up on the chicken you may need to keep adding ice to the mixture to keep the chicken cold. The chicken staying so cold helps the brine absorb into the chicken faster!

Start your smoker up with the water and wood chips to get good smoke going before putting in your chicken.

Spray your smoker racks with a non-stick spray or rub them with olive oil, this helps the chicken to not stick to it.
