Deviled Eggs are a must at all the holiday dinners for me Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter dinners as well! I love using my smoker whenever possible so it was only natural that smoked eggs went on to become Smoked Deviled Eggs!   Below is my smoker I use and also my smoker pucks as well, I didn’t use the thermometer for this recipe it comes in handy smoking meat!

Smoked Deviled Eggs Ingredients:

  • Smoked Eggs
  • Mayonnaise
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper

How To Make Smoked Deviled Eggs:

Smoke your eggs, you can follow my directions -> here on how to do this.

The cliff notes on How to Make Smoked Eggs are to take peeled hard-boiled eggs and smoke them for about 20 to 30 minutes till you have the smoked color you want. The eggs will turn yellow as they absorb the smoke and the flavoring.

Allow the eggs to cool off.

Next, slice your eggs lengthwise and scoop out the yolk into a bowl.

Mix in your filling ingredients.  I personally do mayonnaise and dijon mustard.

Use a fork to cream all the ingredients together.

Cookie Scoop putting deviled egg filling in a smoked egg

Now,  this is where having a  baker in the house helps, we used a Wilton cookies scoop to fill the eggs with the deviled egg filling.

*You can also fill using a  piping bag or Ziploc made into a piping bag*
