Eggroll In A Bowl On The Blackstone Griddle is the perfect weeknight dinner! I love it when I can find something fast and easy to make on my Blackstone! Plus with nothing to prep, I can walk in the door and just start cooking!

Now if you are new to Blackstone or eyeing getting one, let me just say get one. I have the 17-inch Blackstone which I now use on job sites and when we camp. My back deck has 36-inch Blackstone which has made many meals. Breakfast foods and Hibachi Fried Rice are cooked several times a month outside. The food just tastes better when cooked on the Blackstone and the cleanup is a breeze!
I personally have a 17-inch Blackstone for camping and on the job site, and then at home have a 36-inch one for cooking for the family! If you are new to Blackstone or outdoor griddles, check out my post -> here for my Guide to Griddles!
You can purchase Griddles at these sites too!
Eggroll In A Bowl Ingredients:
- Ground Pork Sausage– I use plain pork sausage, but we have used maple before and the kids loved it. Hot sausage is good too if your family likes that flavoring.
- Ready-Mix Dry Coleslaw– You could shred a head of cabbage with some carrots and purple cabbage but I like the no work. You can set aside the dressing packet or toss it. I have also grabbed bags of plain shredded cabbage before.
- Onion– This will be diced onion, if you have picky eaters you can leave the pieces larger.
- Minced garlic
- Sesame Oil
- Rice Vinegar
- Soy Sauce
- Salt and Black Pepper

How To Make blackstone egg roll in a bowl
Pre-prep your Blackstone griddle, make sure it’s clean, the propane tank is full, and cooking utensils and oiled so that it’s ready to be fired up. (Check out my post on Cleaning Your Blackstone)
This can also be made in a skillet on the stove or on the griddle as well.

Gather up all your ingredients. Now I thought the old lady was crazy with her shot glass measuring glasses but they came in handy! I wanted an amount to start with, so I took one per liquid, and it worked perfectly for the liquids!
Once you are ready, warm up your Blackstone Griddle on a medium-high heat. A medium heat will also work if you’re unsure how hot your griddle cooks.
Start to cook your ground pork, and salt and pepper your pork to taste.

You can use the spatula and scraper that come in the Blackstone Accessory kit, or a meat chopper.
Once your pork is partially cooked, set it off to one side and reoil with vegetable oil on the other side of the griddle.

Add your onion and your minced garlic to the cabbage side.
Use one of the long (or two) to mix the cabbage up and keep chopping/cooking the pork on the other side of the grill.
Once your cabbage starts to wilt and soften, add to the top of it Sesame Oil, Rice Vinegar, and a splash of Soy Sauce.
For more flavor, you can add a splash of soy sauce to the pork as well.
Use your long spatula to continue to mix up the cabbage mixture to distribute the liquids.
Once your cabbage is cooked more start to mix the pork with the cabbage. This is a lot of fun using both long Spatulas and cooking like a stir fry.
Remove from the griddle and serve!!

After taking the food in I always quickly go back out with a cup of water. Next, I use the scraper to scrape food particles off the griddle. I pour the water on, it will steam a bit, scrape more, and then wipe down dry.
Once I am done eating, I go back out and reoil the griddle so it is ready to go next time. Also, be sure to take the time to remove the dirty drain container as well and give the whole thing a quick wipe down.
If you store your griddle outside, also be sure to cover the griddle once it has cooled down all the way.
I topped mine with a chili paste, sriracha, and toasted sesame seeds!

How to Store Egg Roll In A Bowl Blackstone

How To Reheat Egg Roll In A Bowl On Blackstone

You can also reheat in a microwave or on the stovetop in a pan.

This recipe is fantastic as written! Thank you!
That sounds delicious! I make eggroll in a bowl often on the stovetop using ground turkey but I bet it tastes even better on the griddle.
