Now if you are new to Blackstone or eyeing getting one, let me just say get one.  I have the 17-inch Blackstone which I now use on job sites and when we camp. My back deck has 36-inch Blackstone which has made many meals.  Breakfast foods and Hibachi Fried Rice are cooked several times a month outside.  The food just tastes better when cooked on the Blackstone and the cleanup is a breeze!

Ingredients for Eggroll In A Bowl Measured out

Gather up all your ingredients.  Now I thought the old lady was crazy with her shot glass measuring glasses but they came in handy! I wanted an amount to start with so I took one per liquid and it worked perfectly for the liquids!

Once you are ready warm up your Blackstone Griddle.

Start to cook your ground pork and salt and pepper your pork to taste.

Blackstone Accessories on griddle.

You can use the spatula and scraper that come in the Blackstone Accessory kit, or a meat chopper.

Add your onion and your minced garlic to the cabbage side.

Use one of the long (or two) to mix the cabbage up and keep chopping’/cooking the pork on the other side of the grill.

Once your cabbage starts to wilt and soften add to the top of it Sesame Oil, Rice Vinegar, and a splash of Soy Sauce.

For more flavor, you can add a splash of soy sauce to the pork as well.

Use your long spatula to continue to mix up the cabbage mixture to distribute the liquids.

Once your cabbage is cooked more start to mix the pork with the cabbage, this is a lot of fun using both long Spatulas.

Remove from the griddle and serve!!

After taking the food in I always quickly go back out with a cup of water.  Next, I use the scraper to scrape food particles off the griddle.  I pour the water on, it will steam a bit, scrape more, and then wipe down dry.

Once I am done eating I go back out and reoil the griddle so it is ready to go next time.  Also, be sure to take the time to remove the dirty drain container as well and give the whole thing a quick wipe down.  If you store yours outside also be sure to cover the griddle once it has cooled down all the way.

  1. That sounds delicious! I make eggroll in a bowl often on the stovetop using ground turkey but I bet it tastes even better on the griddle.
