This Crockpot Smoked Turkey Taco Soup Recipe is one of my favorite ways to use up leftover turkey! Personally, the leftovers are one of my favorite parts of holiday dinners. Soup is one of those meals I love to make big batches of for the leftovers and freeze for lunches later.

How To Make Crockpot Smoked Turkey Taco Soup:
Take your leftover turkey and shred it; you can use white or dark meat. You can make this with a not smoked turkey as well.
I used an 8-quart crockpot, which means the batch is big enough to have leftovers!!
Spray the crockpot with a nonstick spray and start to open up all your cans, or use a crockpot liner.
In a strainer, strain your canned corn and beans and then drop them into the crockpot. Rinse them off as well this will remove the excess starch, do not rinse them if your beans have a sauce to them.
Next, add in the rest of the ingredients and seasonings except for the broth I do that last.

Slowly add chicken broth to the crockpot until the contents are covered, and stir the crockpot.
Cook on low for at least four hours.
Serve and enjoy!

What a tasty combination of flavors and perfect because soup season is right around the corner!
My husband has been obsessed with smoking everything this summer; I have lots of leftover smoked meat that we are going to have to use to make some taco soup. Thanks for the recipe (and the idea!).
