Blackstone Pancakes Recipes

Blackstone Pancakes is a total game-changer for me! My family loves pancakes, and with our size, it always takes a LONG time to make a big batch of pancakes. Normally when we have family over, at least two electric griddles were used for pancakes. Now we do pancakes on Blackstone for an easier cook and delicious food.

Now if you aren’t familiar with Blackstone Griddles, now is the time you need to consider one! I started with the 17 inches that my mom gave me as a gift after the old lady fell in love with food she surprised me with the Blackstone 36-inch griddle.  We take the 17-inch camping, and I take it out on job sites to make lunches for the crew.

The Blackstone Breakfast Kit:

Now I know what you are thinking… I can scoop pancakes on my own! Let me tell you that this pancake dispenser is a tool I never thought I needed! It was so easy to fill up and then squeeze and move—no funky lines from batter dripping off the measuring cup. The Blackstone Breakfast Kit comes with a 4-cup batter dispenser, two egg rings, and a bacon press.

How To Cook Pancakes On A Blackstone Griddle

First, combine in a bowl or dish the milk and vinegar.  Let the combination sit for about five minutes so it can sour.

In a bowl or mixer, mix your eggs and melted butter together.

I used the Kitchen Aid mixer, so I just continued adding ingredients while it was mixing in this order Salt, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, and White Sugar.

Next, take a fork and stir the milk combination and pour it into your pancake mixture; this is cheaper than buttermilk.

Allow to mix for a minute, and then add your flour.

Next, go fire up your griddle be sure to make sure it is well-oiled.  Even though I oil mine before covering it once it is warmed up, I do another quick reoiling with vegetable oil. (Check out my tips on-> How To Care For Your Blackstone Griddle)

Set the burners on medium heat before you start to make your pancakes.

Pour pancake batter into your Blackstone pancake dispenser and once your griddle is warm enough, start to dispense your pancake batter on the griddle.

Once you have bubbles and can tell they are ready to flip, use a long spatula to flip over your pancakes. Cooking pancakes on Blackstone is fun with the long spatulas to flip them.

When the pancakes on the Blackstone are done remove them. I set mine on a glass plate and put them into the oven at the lowest setting to keep them warm if I am making a large batch.

Serve and enjoy!!

HOW LONG TO STORe pancakes

After cooling, store in an airtight container or Ziploc bag for up to five days after cooking. You can freeze pancakes in a container or bag for up to 90 days after cooking.

Storing leftovers properly requires the right tools! My preferred storage method is if the leftovers can be sealed in a food saver. If not, then an air-tight container or Ziploc bag for the fridge is the way I go. The air-tight container and a freezer Ziploc bag are the next best bet for freezing the leftovers. I also use a food scale to measure portions into serving sizes.
