How To Smoke A Pie On A Pellet Smoker:
There isn’t much difference between smoking a pie and baking the pie.
The first step is to ensure your smoker is clean and ready to start rolling the smoke.
Get your smoker rolling smoke once your pie is ready to be smoked.
If your pie is overflowing, I suggest putting a pan or something under it, and we learned the hard way with the old lady’s pie. But, don’t worry, it was amazing still!
Follow the baking directions for the pie, and set your oven to the desired temperature.
Set the pie in the smoker and allow it to smoke. If you are smoking on your smoker’s hot side, watch it while it cooks!
Remove and serve!!

Can I Smoke A Frozen Pie?
Yes, you can!!
Like smoking a homemade pie, be sure to follow the directions for cooking temp and time-wise to put in your smoker.
Some pies will need to thaw before cooking fully, and some will need to be smoked frozen from the start.
What Pellets To Use While Smoking A Pie:
Using a fruit-based pellet will give it a bit lighter taste of smoke. But you really can’t go wrong with any flavor.
Money and time-saving tips from the old lady. If you order pellets online from Walmart and spend $35, they will drop them off at your door for free!! Their everyday price on pit boss pellets is amazing, plus the expert grill brand has a great price. (see them ->here)
