This Coca-Cola And Jack Daniels Smoked Brisket Recipe is my latest brisket creation! I love to use Coca-Cola for grilling and smoking, so brisket was the next logical one to try out.  Brisket is one of those meats that I also make amazing meals out of leftovers.

You can do this in any type of smoker: eclectic, charcoal, or pellet.  My current main go-to smoker is my   Pit Boss Pro 1100; cooking low and slow is how I cook with it.   I picked up my Pitboss at Lowes, but Walmart and Amazon carry other Pit Boss options or the Pit Boss website themselves, I love the cost of them vs other pellet grills.

Coca Cola And Jack Daniels Smoked Brisket Recipe Ingredients:

  • Coca-Cola-You can change this up with any dark soca, Diet Coke, Root Beer, Dr. Pepper, or Coke Zero. The soda flavor will alter the taste a bit, but it will work.
  • Beef Broth
  • Jack Daniels
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Garlic Powder
  • Metal Injector

Coca-Cola And Jack Daniels Smoked Brisket Dry Rub Ingredients:

  • Pitboss Brisket Rub
  • Olive Oil
  • Pepper

Where to buy a Beef Brisket:

  • Costco
  • Local Butcher
  • Grocery Store
  • Snake River Farms
  • Omaha Steaks

How To Make Coca-Cola And Jack Daniels Smoked Brisket Injection:

Trim some of the fat off of your Brisket I do leave most of the fat on the bottom to allow that to help keep the meat juicy.  I had a 15lb Brisket this time, you order one from Snake River Farms or Omaha Steaks if you can’t find brisket locally.

Since I use Better Than Beef Bouillon my beef broth was a bit warm still so the powders dissolved fast!

In a bowl or Pyrex glass measuring cup mix the beef broth, Jack Daniels, Coca-Cola, Worcestershire Sauce, and Garlic Powder.

How To Smoke Coca-Cola And Jack Daniels Smoked Brisket:

If you are using a Pit Boss set your smoke setting at P4, I started mine at 8 am in the morning with the smoke setting.  For pellets, I used a Fruit Blend, but this would also be good with Mesquite pellets.

Money and time saving tips from the old lady. If you order pellets online from Walmart and spend $35, they will drop them off at your door for free!! Their everyday price on pit boss pellets is amazing, plus the expert grill brand has a great price. (see them ->here)

Turn up your smoker to 200 degrees 3 hours later, you can use a basting mop to mop your brisket more with Coca-Cola.

4 hours later I turned the heat up to 225 for an hour and a half and then removed the brisket.

Allow to rest and then slice and serve!

I paired mine up with loaded mashed potatoes and bacon with asparagus.

Leftover Brisket Recipes

I love to smoke meat and have leftovers for other meals. Smoked meat adds to the flavor of different dishes, and it’s one of my favorites to use in chilis. Be sure to check out my l leftover brisket recipes.

  • Smoked Brisket Baked Beans– Cut up your brisket to make up these loaded baked beans, plus add bacon for even more flavor.  Use cast iron in the smoker to add more smoke flavor to the beans while they cook!
  • Brisket Shepards Pie– Using homemade mashed potatoes makes for a tasty comfort food using chopped leftover smoked brisket.  Cooking it in a cast-iron skillet adds amazing flavor to this classic dish.
  • Blackstone Grilled Cheese Brisket Sandwich– Use slices or shreds of leftover smoked brisket to make excellent grilled cheeses.  The smoked brisket adds a fantastic flavor to a classic sandwich
