It seems like bam the year is almost over and the holidays are upon us! Now as much as I wish work would slow down to let me do all the holiday cooking I want I have to admit defeat sometimes and look for other options and easy ways to serve up my guests.

Now you may remember seeing my post on the Sausage Slammers (see my post -> here), well those have been a hit at a couple of tailgating parties. I wanted to share with you more options you can order to be sent to your house. now, I don’t know what the stores are like near you as holidays are approaching but stores here have been busy and I can’t always find what I am looking for. Now one thing I love about ordering online is most often I can pick out my delivery date and everything comes frozen! I let it thaw to use on the date I need, and I can also throw it straight in the freezer for use later on!

Did you know that Southside Market started in 1882 and was founded in Elgin, TX? They started out on door to make sales with a horse-drawn wagon and then sold to become a butcher shop in later years. Currently, Southside Market is the oldest barbeque joint that is still in business. The company is now on its third generation of owners!! Plus you can have Texas smoked Brisket delivered to your door!

Sausage is one of those foods that work for any meal! Easy dinner or breakfast, or as is for lunch! Now I just explored the Southside Market sausage-> here and ordered Garlic and Polish to be sent to me! (don’t worry ill share more recipes using them)

Now while I love to smoke my own food sometimes work schedules just don’t allow it. If you have worked in construction you can relate, to long hours and little sleep. However, smoke food is my comfort food so it’s nice to be able to order smoked food to have in my freezer for those days or weeks. Plus if you don’t have to cook the whole holiday meal that’s a total win right?
