Thaw your tilapia if needed, and thaw in the fridge overnight.
Lay out foil and spray with a bit of nonstick.
Rub both sides of your Tilapia with some olive oil
Season to taste with your blackening on both sides.
Fold your foil to make a packet around the fish fillet.
Turn your grill onto a low-medium heat.
Set your foil packet on either the upper or lower rack of the grill; if using the lower rack, you will need to keep a close eye on it as it cooks.
Use a meat thermometer to verify your fillet has cooked to 145 degrees.
Remove and serve.
