Instructions

  • Thaw your chicken breast following food-safe protocols so they are thoroughly thawed.
  • At least an hour or the night before grilling rub or brush the chicken breasts with olive oil and season them.
  • An hour before you are ready to grill pull the breasts from the fridge and allow them to accumulate.
  • If your grill racks are not oiled down already, spray your rack with a nonstick spray or rub with some olive oil.
  • Open the lid to the gas grill and then turn the heat to low/medium heat, close the lid, and allow it to warm up.
  • Once the grill is warmed up place the chicken breasts on top rack and close the lid to the grill.
  • Swap out the contaminated tongs with clean ones and then flip the chicken after cooking for about 15 minutes.
  • There isn’t always a set time that you will grill your chicken. You will want to grill your chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees using a thermometer.

Notes

**Different sides of the grill will cook differently be sure to temperature-check the biggest part of each piece of chicken to ensure they are all thoroughly cooked through. **
