Instructions

How To Make Philly Cheesesteak

  • I'll summarize the basic steps to make Philly Cheesesteak on the Blackstone, but you can find in-depth directions on the post itself.
  • To make this faster, use frozen vegetables, and store-bought shaved steak meat.
  • Oil your Blackstone if needed, or clean as well, and fire up your Blackstone grill to medium-high heat.
  • On one side of your grill, cook your frozen vegetables; on the other, cook your shaved steak meat. (I put Minced Garlic, Blackstone Cheese Steak Seasoning, Worchestire Sauce, Garlic Salt, and Black Pepper into my meat.)
  • Add more oil if needed and combine everything.
  • Once the meat and vegetables are fully cooked, remove and serve or store later.

How To Make Philly Cheesesteak Quesadilla

  • Fire up and reoil your Blackstone Griddle. If you are unsure how to oil your Blackstone, check out my How To Care For Your Blackstone.
  • While your griddle is heating up to a medium heat, heat your leftover Philly Cheesesteak if it is not warm from coming off the griddle.
  • If you want, spread the tortilla inside with butter, mayo, or even a jalapeno sauce for added flavor.
  • The next step is to top half of the tortilla with Philly Cheese Steak filling; the other side of the tortilla will have nothing, so it folds over.
  • Lay a piece of cheese or top with Cheez Whiz. You can top it with slices of Provolone cheese, American cheese, or any sliced cheese you choose.
  • Fold the tortilla in half the rest of the way and throw it on the hot griddle.
  • Use the Long Blackstone spatula to flip your Quesadilla when it has come to a golden brown on the outside of the tortilla.
  • Allow for the cheese melt to happen, as you are cooking the quesadilla
  • If your tortilla fits under a dome, you can place it under it to help make melted cheese.
  • Remove and Serve!
