Instructions

  • Pre-prep your Blackstone griddle, make sure its clean, the propane tank is full, cooking utensils, and oiled so that it's ready to be fired up
  • Gather up all your ingredients.
  • Once you are ready warm up your Blackstone Griddle.
  • Start to cook your ground pork and salt and pepper your pork to taste.
  • You can use the spatial and scraper that come in the Blackstone Accessory kit, or a meat chopper.
  • Once your pork is partially cooked set it off to one side and reoil the other side of the griddle.
  • One the empty side open your bags of coleslaw and spread out on that side of the griddle.
  • Add your onion and your minced garlic to the cabbage side.
  • Use one of the long (or two) to mix the cabbage up and keep chopping'/cooking the pork on the other side of the grill.
  • Once your cabbage starts to wilt and soften add to the top of it the Seasame Oil, Rice Vinegar, and a splash of Soy Sauce.
  • For more flavor, you can add a splash of soy sauce to the pork as well.
  • Use your long spatula to continue to mix up the cabbage mixture to distribute the liquids.
  • Once your cabbage is cooked more start to mix the pork with the cabbage, this is a lot of fun using both long Spatulas.
  • Remove from the griddle and serve!!
  • After taking the food in I always quickly go back out with a cup of water.  Next, I use the scraper to scrape food particles off the griddle.  I pour the water on, it will steam a bit, to scrape more and then wipe down dry.   Once I am done eating I go back out and reoil the griddle so it is ready to go next time.  Also, be sure to take the time to remove the dirty drain container as well and give the whole thing a quick wipe down.  If you store yours outside also be sure to cover the griddle once it has cooled down all the way.
