This White Wine Crock Pot Clam Chowder Recipe is the perfect recipe to make for a fall or winter day! Fill your home with the amazing aroma of clam chowder from the crock pot!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Potatoes
  • Minced Garlic
  • 1 Cup of onion
  • 1 Cup of celery
  • 1 Can of corn
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 Tsp Red Pepper flakes
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Thyme
  • 1 8 oz Bottle Clam Juice
  • 6 Slices of Bacon
  • Clams in white wine broth
  • 2 Tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 Cups heavy cream

Instructions

  1. We used an 8-quart crockpot to make this in.

  2. Prepare your veggies by chopping them up to go in the chowder.
  3. Open the can of corn and strain out the liquid.
  4. Put everything except the heavy cream and cornstarch into the crock pot.
  5. Cook on low for about 5 hours.
  6. About half an hour before serving in a bowl mix together the cream and cornstarch.
  7. Slowly stir in the cornstarch and cream mixture and allow to cook another half hour on low.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
